I hate it when things die.
I’m a really bad plant mom. Really bad. I keep buying them and forgetting to water them. It’s so devastating to me (and just imagine how the plants feel!)

Wow that plant is very sad looking! Gosh I don’t know, the usual mistakes are too small a pot, too little water, too much water, too little sun. BUT THIS! Well it looks indefensible! Well you know, some people just have the touch and others don’t. So Maybe you write good movie reviews but are not so hot on plants?
You just need to buy something that basically requires no care.

I did actually. I bought bamboo. All you need for those is to keep them in their own little puddle. Well, their water all dried up without me realizing it. So actually one of my two really healthy bamboo is now yellow. I can’t even keep spider plants alive. It’s very sad and very indefensible. I have such an urge to just go out and buy a couple of more plants to replace them now…but they would probably just die too.
To my credit though, both of my cats are well taken care of.

I think you have an idea there mykel. Actually, you know, I just need a plant like in Little Shop of Horrors (except without all of the violent tendencies) I need a plant that taps me on the shoulder every time I walk by and says, “Hey I’m feeling kind of peckish. How about you give me a bit of water?”
