Beautiful wonderful perfect Juana Molina The way her beautiful Spanish words waft into your ears just relax you like none other can. Juana is one of my favorite artists and this is the second time I have been able to see her. She comes off as very candid and down to Earth like she could be your next door neighbor or something (in, I suppose, perhaps the coolest neighborhood in the whole world) she jokes around, makes dog noises-the whole bit. She is from Argentina and her roots are in comedy (which is where her career started) so, although she doesn’t officially do a comedy routine live, she has a sense of humor when she relates little stories of her life. I own three albums by her: Segundo, Tres Cosas, and her newest one, Son. I find them all to be perfect in their own way. The style does not deviate too exremely and all three have special moments of intricasies and a delicateness which is very special.

Oh yes… she has a beautiful voice and great lyrics… Her style is unique…

ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
It’s incredible how her albums, along with Joni Mitchell’s “Blue”, have influenced me so much in this last two years.
I get the chance to see her everytime she returns to Buenos Aires. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone like her on stage. I don’t like many of the artists in this country, but her performances have the quality and effects that I thought that only some international legend could have on me.
