I Often Dream of Trains

Most of these pictures have to do with the concept of waiting because I think people do spend a significant amount of time doing this and, because we’re taught time is precious and that we could die at any moment, we struggle as humans during the waiting periods. So we fill them by reading or with music, or cell phone conversations. We’re taught that human life should always be about progress and that waiting is, in fact, the antithesis of progress. And yet, waiting can sometimes be very beautiful. There are moments to be had and shared. There are moments that we need to collect our thoughts and ourselves as we catch glimpses of selves in the passing of each train.

I like your photos. That first one has nice colors. However, I still hate waiting for the train.

I really hate waiting for the train. Which is why I make the time go faster by taking pictures ;)
