Closeup Pictures of Nature

There isn’t too much to do back home in upstate NY besides visiting with family and watching films. I think a good band comes around once a decade. On New Year’s Day and between the holidays, I went out in the snow and took some pictures. Here are a few of the closeups.

These two are of snowy reeds. I was in the thick of the forest and the snow was falling soft and slow. You can see the tracks of white that are made in the picture. It’s a nice feeling.

The two with falling snow and reeds are really layered. They’re exquisite :).

I should send you them large. I wish I could have done more. My camera (and I) were getting really wet, though. They need to make snow hoods for cameras.
