Best of Myspace Music
Well, what can I say….it’s been such a busy weekend with lots of great music and conversations and shopping that I haven’t had any time to do some of the blogging and music listening at home that I would have liked. I plan on adding to this list tomorrow but for now I have to go out to see a night of jazz music that will bring me back home quite late and perhaps a little tired (overall, jazz really isn’t my thing and six hours of it seems more than a little excessive) Until then, here’s my BEST of myspace.
The Limes are part Orouni (who isn’t just a fantastic musician but a truly interesting person as well I might add), part John Hale, part Toy Fight, part Mina Tindle and last but not least part Henry Sparrow. They are a super international collaboration that has just gone underway. Now, I’ve blogged about every single one of these musicians/bands at separate times but hearing them play altogether, I just didn’t think it would be possible really, mainly because half of them are based in France and the other in North Carolina. I guess talented musicians will not be stopped by mere geography.
Unfortunately, they only have one mere song to tease us with right now but listen to Mina Tindle’s lovely vocals in it with that beautiful cello. Let’s hope that put up more songs soon!
