Awkward Conversations About Music
The above little girl is not my baby. (At this point in my life, I don’t plan on having kids) It’s the newborn of my friend Michelle who I’ve had the pleasure of seeing quite often since her birth. She’s darling, especially when she’s fast asleep. This photo was taken a week ago from yesterday. Last Tuesday, Michelle and I had this conversation, which in retrospect I think is funny.
me: If you want to do something Thursday night, we can. We’re going to a show at the Bottle so we can stop by beforehand.
Michelle: Wow..you’re going out tonight and Thursday?
me: Yeah. Some weeks we actually end up going out six nights in a row.
Michelle: And you manage to blog about all of these bands and do pictures?
me: yeah
Michelle:And you still go to work with like five hours of sleep?
me: yeah.
Michelle: You’re going to make a great mom someday.
