More Photography

I’m in the middle of doing my best shows of 2006, which is fairly time consuming for me and I don’t have as much energy as I’d like after car ride plane ride el ride car ride grocery shopping-you get the idea. In the meantime, here’s some photography I worked on this last holiday week.
Awhile back, I posted a few winter pictures I’d done. I compiled them all and put together this flickr set featuring all of the great things about winter like…let’s see oh right snow (ah, remember those magical days before global warming?) The majority of these were taken with my previous point and shoot camera between upstate NY and Chicago but I have a soft spot for them.

Also with a winter theme but all taken with the camera I have now, a Canon Rebel, is a photoset I finally got around to doing from the time I was in sleepy town Madison, Wisconsin. A couple of close friends of mine decided it was best if we all took a trip for the sake of DeVotchKa to see them at the Annex. It was a great night but I woke up before everyone and grew restless to take photos of this town covered in a veil of white. People were barely awake as I traipsed across the streets towards the capitol building, my fingers avidly pressing down the buttons of my camera. I feared for frostbite or worse overexposure. The complete photoset can be viewed on flickr here
