One of the most photogenic and fun bands you’ll ever see. Even though mired in personal tragedy, the Dials don’t let the music suffer. Instead, they play tight punk rawk sets like if you took the Donnas and put them in a proper garage. Very catchy and irrestistable stuff. I would recommend both their ep Sick Times and their full length Flex Time. Often with vocal interactions between Rebecca Crawford and Patti Gran, the songs deliver sweetness with the punk rawk. The girls play out of Marshas (instead of Marshalls) and Emily Dennison accompanies the bass, drums, and guitar with her farfisa playing.
