I was driving today and lo and behold but what did I see? Birds! I really wish I could make this picture larger to capture the insane amount of pigeons congregating for seemingly no reason…it was very eerie….
I spent about a half hour in a thunderstorm taking pictures of these. Oh! Don’t even tell me you wouldn’t have! When I went to Whole Foods afterwards, I was so elated I had to explain to the guy who cashed me out that I had just spent the last thirty minutes in the pouring rain taking pictures of pigeons. It’s okay though because I sensed he was probably the kind of weirdo that takes pictures of pigeons in the pouring rain, too.
I’m seriously going to start my own line of Alfred Hitchcock greeting cards with these…just you wait…they’re gonna be a HIT! A hit, I tell ya, a real success story!!
Because I can’t be with you on your very special birthday, I am sending you birds instead. It may be a good idea to run for cover and board up all of your windows.
Please allow me to express my dearest sympathy for the supernatural birds that descended on your small town. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
We could always pick you out of a lineup! Congratulations on your world record for most times jumping on a trampoline whilst asleep.
