The TTC

I saved the best for last. I really did.
The TTC is more roomy than most subway trains I have been on (certainly more so than Chicago’s el system) and it actually runs frequently and on time (imagine that!)
I took these pictures over the course of two rides from Scarborough Shopping Centre to the downtown area-Bathurst. If wish I had had more time and days. Hopefully, you’ll sense what movement on the train is like and what being in Canada is like in general. I mean…like every day life type stuff I guess.
Now, I know it may take some time to load up the pics but I spent a great deal of time on them so please someone look, ok?

I’m the girl. It was a bit difficult to hold my camera still at times…

I have to admit this picture somewhat scares me. It’s like three different beings passing right through eachother. It’s really the trickery of motion and the way the camera tends to experientialize everything….or is it? Are there ghosts on the TTC?

(The entire non cropped pic of the one above it)

This is my mom.

I’m not sure what surprises me more. That you came to Toronto and went to the Scarborough Town Centre or that you came to Toronto and didn’t meet me for a coffee.
