The dBs at the Hideout Block Party
THE dBs

This was the last band I had stayed to see and I hadn’t been able to find any of their records until the day of as they were selling their first two albums re-released together as one at the show. I don’t know very much about the dBs but Mike Bennett did help a bit, walking musical encylopedia that he is sometimes and I ended up enjoying their set immensely. It’s hard to have such a nice sense of rock with such a wonderful sense of harmony and melody altogether. I found myself wanting to sing along like I had heard these songs for ages just because people should be listening to this band more than they do…so catchy and accessible and so drastically underrated. I was impressed!
Oh and also very cool Big Star tshirt that the keyboardist had on! yay big star!
